US Sales Tax
The Electric Quilt Company is required by law to collect sales tax for orders shipping into states where we have or may have nexus for state tax purposes under applicable laws. Therefore all orders shipping into Arkansas, Colorado, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin will be charged applicable sales tax according to your area’s tax rate.
European Union Value Added Tax
Effective January 1, 2015
Due to the EU VAT law (European Union Value Added Tax), The Electric Quilt Company will no longer sell downloadable products and/or digital services to customers within the territory of a European Union (EU) Member State.
Downloadable products and digital services affected by this law:
- Downloadable software
- Downloadable add-on products
- EQ University classes
Physical products NOT affected by this new law.

- USB/CD/DVD-ROM products
- EQ Printables sheets
